"men who eat meat are real men"!

I love Velvet Underground, Bowie, Eno, Ferry, Devo, Smiths, Cure, (not so keen on Duran Duran or Wacko Jacko mind you).
I am not androgynous looking my self, and before I say what I am about to say, I wish to make it clear that I am not homosexual or even bisexual, but I actually feel much more attracted to men that look like women and wear make up and/or are generally androgynous, then to men who look 'normal' whatever the hell that is.
You have every right to dress how you want, and some people will always admire you and like you for being an individual.
p.s. I have always had an embarrassing crush on David Bowie, when he was in between 1967-ish and 1976, even though I wasn't even alive then!

I'm all for people being able to look howevr they choose, no matter how outlandish. There is a difference however between choosing to dress a certain way, and being born a certain race. If you wanted you could take off your make up and put on regular clothes. Honestly if you can't handle being criticized for how you dress, either fight back, ignore it, don't dress that way, or save it for certain occasions and places. I used to be all glamed up 24/7/365, now i just do it if i am going out clubbing, or to a concert etc. Being judged comes with the territory, unfortuately there are a lot of stupid people in the world.

You know what, society has never been able to accept anyone
who looks "different". We cannot accept people for who they,
they want you to be like them.....but your NOT them, your YOU.
Rock stars can get away with it, why ?.....Because they are
rock stars, and your not.....so, if u want to be whoever u want,
that's fine, as long as you can DEAL with the BACKLASH .
Some people are accepting or not in ALL social circles. Just
stick w/ the people who are ur kind or who accept YOU. I had to
accept that I'm different too, because I'm artistic. And most
people who DO dress different and hair too, usually are very
artistic, U just have to find a happy medium for yourself. It is
better to be where you feel like you are more comfortable....
BUT....U must realize u can't run from anyone, just laugh it off.
And be happy!!!!!!!!!

It hurts definitely, but the best reaction is to ignore the ignoramouses!! Unfortunately, no matter what you wear, how you do your hair, makeup, jewelry, there is always someone to remark hurtfully. If you stripped and went everywhere nude, some people would still complain and want you to redress!
So, consider that you at least are getting attention, smile pleasantly and go about your business. (They are probably jealous that they can't carry the effect as well as you!!)

maybe the reason they force you to do things is because you still leave with your parents ,,,, but once you get your place then they are not allowed to for you to eat meat, or to be a manly man or to dress the way they want you to dress,,and have you talk to them about what your real personality?
