I am going to get my ear lobes pierced soon but my ears have always been sensitive. Does anyone know any topical anesthetic other than Emla(sp?) that I can just spray or rub on my ear that won't let me feel it? (At least not alot)

Im watching a documentry about Hurricane Katrina and what those people had to go through a FIRST WORLD country , and how they are still suffering due to the lack of responce from the US Government. I beleive that the govt did that because there was no monetary gain in to helping these people where unemployement was so high. So it like they werent contributing to the American economy. Is that right to keep human beings in those conditions becasue of money. You think this is was way for the Govt to get back at them ?
One thing too, the media did a horrible job of show the black people there as vicious criminal monsters rather an desperate people in need of help. What do you think ?

I want to thank everyone for you opinions on abortion. I know it is a touchy subject for many, many others are undecided. and some are strongly for or against.
It's a subject that really gets people to open up and say what they think.I am 23 and I have two beautiful children myself 5 years and 5 months and would never and have never thought about abortion.
If a person waited until they thought they were ready for parenthood they would never have kids. If you feel you are not emotionally or physically ready and you decide to have an abortion you are being selfish because guess what you will never be ready no matter how much you prepare. If you don't feel you are financially ready, once again if you wait for money you'll be waiting along time. parenthood is hard for EVERYONE no matter what the situation. But a life is a life and god gave you this miracle for a reason. He would'nt give it if he didn't think you were ready. He never throws you anymore then what you can handle. thank you

this summer i found that nothing in my life is interesting... i feel like stabin myself in the chest. wuts the point of life...? its a one time thing... u gotta get the best outta it then y are there rules? to make the next generation better? i wana enjoy my life not live for the next generation. after all, human race will be extinct when global worming finally be deadly enough to kill everyone. if not wut about the theory that the universe is racing to the end?

My boyfriend is 21 years old and I believe he has an addiction to Warcraft. For those of you who don't know, World of Warcraft is a computer game with online interaction with people all over the world. It's mostly a killing and ranking game but it's a game that can never really be beat. What makes me believe he has an addiction to this game is when I ask him (politely!) to stop playing, he gets very defensive. I allow him to bring over his laptop to my house and every once in a while, I don't mind that he plays, especially when it's one of those days / nights you just want to hang out and be lazy. Last night I asked him to stop playing and he did but shortly after I fell asleep just to be woken up and found him playing again! It seems to get worse the more often he plays.How can I confront him on this issue? I'm not asking him to choose between me or the game but I'm seriously concerned about a possible addiction.

so this girl started working where i work, i thought she was good looking and a devolped a crush on her didnt really act on it ( dont know why, i thought it wouldnt go anywhere) a bit later on i found out that one of my good friends likes her, and this is right when i realized this girl did like me through people telling me and just the way we acted around each other. this friend of mine that likes her how do i break it to himm without him being mad at me ??

I asked this before but did not get answer. Is anyone aware of this Marvel saga. It requires heros to unmask for security reasons! Peter Parker publically unmasked as did IronMan while Captain America and others refused. Whats happening with this? A friend of mine has a wine bar mainly for ages 24-30+ age group.
He wants a place/site that supply dvd music videos to play on his screens.
He in particular wants, film scores to play IE: a DVD with Greased Lightning,Your the one i want, e.t.c, and other good films/soundtracks.
Does anyone know of any good suppliers/web sites??
