Is there such a thing as a "superiority complex?"?

I notice this in myself and a lot of other gamers. The only reason we play is to get the approval and satisfaction of others. We want to prove that we are superior to anyone else. I think this may or may not be related to the presence of a father figure early in life. Any info from a professional?

Birthday Girl!?

Today is my birthday, which should be a day of celebration, however I just feel old. Ya see, today is the BIG one. Yup, 30! Eek- it's even hard to write. I can feel the arthritis coming in my hands and I think I have an age spot! As long as I was in my 20's I didn't really feel "grown up" yet... now I feel like I'm officially an adult. I know it's "not how old you are but how you feel", but I really feel old now. Do you/did you?will you feel like this on your 30th?

After watching In the Footsteps Of Bin Laden on CNN....?

does it make more sense to take every threat spoken toward the US more seriously? Atleast three different times Bid Laden had threatened action against the US and he delivered. I dont think people really took him seriously or think he could accomplish his goals. Obviously he did and thier next big one is going to aim to kill millions upon millions. Any threat against us no matter how small or unlikely it seems at the time should be taken very seriously. What do you think?

Can you get through a miscarriage without any medications or a D & C?

I had a miscarriage in July and got pregnant again in Early Aug and now am miscarrying again. I had a D&C with the first one but it was rushed and so unpleasant and painful. I still have antibiotics from that one and started taking them as soon as I started miscarrying again. The Doctor that I went to last time was so Cold and wasn't very compassionate. I am new to the area and didn't have a OB/Gyn so the Hospital referred me to one. Now I am afraid to go get checked out. He just slapped me on the table and just started cleaning me out and it was painful. I was already dialated though but still it was painful. He didn't even tell me what to expect. So this is why I want to know if I can go through this on my own along with antibiotics. I am throwing out a bunch of clots and changing my pad every 2 to three hours. I just feel like I'm on my period but with clots. I felt this way during my last miscarriage. I am only 4wks with this one and the first I was 4wks also.

What's the best program to use to create a logo and graphics for my business?

I've tried photoshop, but it seems like there would be a better/easier way. I've also tried Ulead Cool3D, and I like it, but it seems kind of buggy. Any suggestions that are similar to Cool3D, but better?
