Today is my birthday, which should be a day of celebration, however I just feel old. Ya see, today is the BIG one. Yup, 30! Eek- it's even hard to write. I can feel the arthritis coming in my hands and I think I have an age spot! As long as I was in my 20's I didn't really feel "grown up" yet... now I feel like I'm officially an adult. I know it's "not how old you are but how you feel", but I really feel old now. Do you/did you?will you feel like this on your 30th?

The time when it really hits you is when you fill in a survey or something and you need to check your age and you can't check that 20-29 box anymore. But don't worry about it you only have to feel this way for 1 day tomorrow it will be fine and you will be back to your "old" self. Happy 30th and welcome to the club

When I turned 30, my married sister was pregnant with my first niece, the first of a new generation. Also, the Mets had just won the World Series (1986). Anyway, it was a transition in our family, and I was happy about getting older.

Now I'm going to turn 50 in a few months. My mom died last month, so we are now "adult orphans".

I'm not afraid of getting older. However, I haven't learned to be financially independent yet, so this is scary. Also, I haven't yet majorly published any of my works, so my dream of joining the canon of American literature remains unfulfilled.

I am afraid of being old, sickly, and poor. I don't think I want to live to be 70, although I might change my mind when I "get up there".

Well, Happy Birthday, Treintanera!

Hey you are lucky - I am 43 and everything becomes a bit harder after 40 - drinking, eating (it makes you fat) running etc.!

I loved being 30 - it was such fun ...actually I love being 43 and I will probably love being 50!!

There is something new everday and I am learning all the time and matruring (a bit) but I still think I am actually 21 - it is just a shame that if only I knew when I was 21 the stuff I know now things would have been even more fun!!

Just enjoy your 30th and be happy!!

Live it up and stay young at heart. Look at it like a new chapter in your Never Ending Story. Happy Birthday.

I already feel like a adult, I dont associate being mature with being over the hill. So no 30 will not feel old to me, especially since if you think about it you still have a good 30-70 years ahead of you. And also think about this: alot of women dont even really settle down till late in thier 30's, dont get married or have kids either. When you turn 50 you can feel old okay? ;)

30 is a milestone.. not a large age. YOU are very young. Wish I was turning 30. Make it the greatest birthday, and have some fun. Take your mind off your age, and place it on the fact that today is a special day.

THINK about it: you are only 1 day older than yesterday and you were only 29 yesterday. YOU didn't age overnight.

Happy 1 day older than 29.

Im 24 and I know Im going to be getting cellulite soon. sigh.
I know this because when I press my thighs or pinch the skin there, it looks like cellulite, its just a matter of time before I no longer need to pinch to see it.
And I have stretch marks! Couldnt mother nature have at least waited until I had kids before scribbling on me? growl.
on the other hand, my husband cant get enough of me, so thats a perk. Even if you dont like what you see in the mirror, take it for granted that someone out there thinks youre hot, and strut it girl!

You are only as young as you feel! Happy B-Day!

I am getting close to 30 and I am starting to freak out but I am the youngest person in my department at work so they keep me feeling young. Hang out with old people, they'll put in in perspective.

Think of it this way...You haven't even lived half of you life yet if you live to be 80. You have a long way to go. You are still young ;)

Happy Birthday - you are not old. When I hit 30 two decades ago I felt old but realized I was young. Good luck and hope you get plenty of presents. Here is a hug for you

Today is my 26th, and yes, I will feel that way even now I feel old. But when I am 30 I will have a very hard time accepting it.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO US!!!!
