I'm looking for something a little different. I will not eat seafood, asparagus, artichokes...I've got a lot of chicken breast and ground turkey and chicken on hand so anything that uses those things would be great....I really want to try something a little different and I love to took...don't mind the longer more indepth recipes...THanks in advance!

It just seems odd that there is always VERY vocal opposition to and hatred of Jews and Christians but no where nears the comments and criticizism or hatred of Muslims. Why? Do people feel that criticizing a Jew Or Christian won't get a violent reaction but criticizing a Muslim might get you blown up or your head sawed off or your family raped and slain? I certainly don't believe that the majority of Muslims are radical terrorists but it seems that people don't get mad...and say so or write it in Yahoo!Answers.. at Muslims or the Islam religion in general the way they do at Chistians and Jews in general.

I've wrote with permanent maker on some shirts and I need to wash them. What do I soak the shirt in before washing them so that the permanent maker doen't bleed out ? The other Spanish teacher at my school and I put on a little festival for the whole school, using Cinco de Mayo as our excuse for having our students research some aspect of some Latin American (or Spanish) culture and present what they learned in little "booths."

It went well, and I think it did a lot of the kids good to realize that not all Latinos are Mexicans, for one. Teachers loved bringing their classes, and they usually learned something too!

My question is, should we do it again? Don't worry, we will be using the date of the victory at Puebla again. However, our school year's divided 2.

We were thinking of doing something during Hispanic Heritage Month (9/15-10/15), but would it be overkill to do the same kind of thing? Should we do something different to meet the research, sharing, & celebration requirements? Maybe something like they do for Native American month: little known facts during announcements?

I'm open to suggestions!

I am not old enough to drive and I need to get to church. My mom and pop say I have to go with them, but I need to go to church cuz it helps my depression and lonliness. I am desperate to get to church. I don't know anyone who can give me a ride and mom and pop refuse to take me. Plz help I only have a few hours to decide!!! Should I walk to church or should I beg them not to go and take me instead? I don't like to hang out with my family cuz they argue and it's not keeping the sabbath day holy. and she told me that if she had sex before she was married and her father found out, he'd take her "back home" and kill her. Why? I agree that it's a sin (to have premarital sex) but what's with the death? Isn't that a sin in islam, too?
