If you are Catholic and studying in a Catholic school, then you definately must be ready to give an explanation for to someone the variations. Extra, you may know that Catholics do not say "attending Catholic offerings" however "go to mass." that's what a "Catholic provider" is called. For this reason, i think that you're not a Catholic and this is just trolling. It's as an alternative sad that there are so many careworn Protestants available in the market.

If you're Catholic and learning in a Catholic tuition, then you definitely will have to be capable to provide an explanation for to any individual the variations. Further, you might recognize that Catholics do not say "attending Catholic offerings" however "cross to mass." THAT'S what a "Catholic provider" is referred to as. Therefore, I suspect that you're NOT a Catholic and that is simply trolling. It's instead unhappy that there are such a large amount of careworn Protestants available in the market.

I think the main issue should be both parties relationship with God. If we are trying to live Christian lives and following the 10 commandments; we would all be better people. I am Christian but have a lot of Catholic friends and believe I will see them in Heaven one day.
God Bless!

Catholics and Christians have similar beliefs, but Catholics are more ritualistic - having more rules and expectations for their congregation. God didn't say, do this, this and that and you will make it into Heaven. God says, " Only through my son Jesus will you make it into the kingdom of Heaven" Christians base their beliefs on this.
We are all sinners and all fall short in the eyes of God. That is why Jesus died for our sins. We can not earn our way into the kingdom, nothing we do is good enough.
also, Catholics pray to or through Mary, which the bible says we are not to worship anyone/anything other then the Lord himself - Praying to something is worship! Christians, pray directly to God as He commands in His Word. The Catholics have statues that seem to attract a lot of attention in their churches and Christians are more simplified and use the church as a means for worshiping our Lord, and fellowship...Placing the focus on God! Catholic also come to a priest for forgiveness, and Christians know that only Jesus can cleanse us of our sins, no priest or anyone else on earth can do that. All this said, I think both religions believe in the same God and both have Jesus as their Lord and Savior, but the differences mentioned above by far sets them apart.

Catholic Religion seems to be the more traditional practice of the life of Jesus. Christians see it as an easy way of getting into heaven.

Catholics ARE Christians. We believe in Christ, thus making us Christians. Another thing, we do NOT pray to saints... we pray to God. Do a some research and find out ;o) I think Catholicism is very strict and also very straight to the point. Other Christians work around their conveniences. They'll do something that contradicts their religion and then they'll give you some bull about why they did it.

Okay here is the best answer
Christians claim they do what they do because they follow the teachings of Jesus Christ and accept the whole bible as Gods word.
Catholics claim they do what they do because they make a historical connection between the apostle Peter and the establishment of their church, thus they believe that they are the carriers of the Christian church. Thus they practice many non biblical things but defend them as part of church tradition

I'm tired of this idea that Catholics are not Christians just because some Catholic beliefs don't gell with the Bible. Well, some Protestants' beliefs don't gell with the Bible, either! Where is drinking alcohol at all forbidden in the Bible? Where is dancing forbidden? Where does it say you can't celebrate Halloween?
I think this scripture has something to say about denominations:
1 Corinthians 1:10-13 (New International Version)
10I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among you and that you may be perfectly united in mind and thought. 11My brothers, some from Chloe's household have informed me that there are quarrels among you. 12What I mean is this: One of you says, "I follow Paul"; another, "I follow Apollos"; another, "I follow Cephas [Peter]"; still another, "I follow Christ."
13Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Were you baptized into the name of Paul?
For the record, I don't think that the above scripture means that we all submit to one human being's interpretation of scripture, but that we agree in love to accept each other.
Here's what the Bible says about manmade rules:
Colossians 2:16-23 (New International Version)
16Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. 17These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ. 18Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you for the prize. Such a person goes into great detail about what he has seen, and his unspiritual mind puffs him up with idle notions. 19He has lost connection with the Head, from whom the whole body, supported and held together by its ligaments and sinews, grows as God causes it to grow.
20Since you died with Christ to the basic principles of this world, why, as though you still belonged to it, do you submit to its rules: 21"Do not handle! Do not taste! Do not touch!"? 22These are all destined to perish with use, because they are based on human commands and teachings. 23Such regulations indeed have an appearance of wisdom, with their self-imposed worship, their false humility and their harsh treatment of the body, but they lack any value in restraining sensual indulgence.
Believe me, Protestantism, as well as Catholicism and other sects of Christianity, has its manmade rules, too!

Why is it that liberals hate Catholics? Why can't liberals accept that some people want to practice their religion their own way?
Why is there never ending scorn directed at practicing Catholics?

I don't see any reason why either of them should debate. They both believe in the Bible, in Jesus, in salvation, in resurrection, in heaven and in hell. Does it really matter either way? Environments, religious backgrounds, families, friends, and social statues all play a part in a Christians belief. Hence, you aren't going to change anyones beliefs.
Be good.
