I would like to ressemble Saladin. A great man for his age, showing tolerance and wisdom where there wasn't any.

Benjamin Franklin. Boy that guy was brilliant. All the things he invented and the ideas he came up with.
Think what he could do with all of todays technology!
Plus he was well rounded. He was in politics, science, all kinds of areas. He invented electricity, fired departments, libraries and on and on.
He was a hands on man who influenced society while he was living. And not in the theoretical, stuff that touched peoples lives right away.

Without a doubt, Albert Einstein. Not just because of his scientific mind, but also his views of the Universe from a greater perspective.

oh..that'll have to be, Jean Jacques Rosseau. great philosopher and humanitarian of the 18th and 19th century. Few like him believed that "men should be free" and fought for freedom of mankind. I liked him because, he believed IN the people and FOR the people, a quality we rarely see these days.
