The Bible is made up of the Old and New Testaments. I am a Christian, and from my point of view I find that the Old Testament is only used in bits and pieces and not taken as a whole, mainly because it can be contradictory and/or impose unneccesary laws, such as not eating pork. Why do we still use it when it only seems to cause problems? I mean, I don't remember anything in the NT about having to obey the Old Testament. I know that we tout the Ten Commandments as being important, but I would like to know where Jesus says for us to obey them. The only times that I remember Jesus saying laws was Love God with all your heart, mind, and body and love your neighbor as yourself. In a way, this sums up the Ten Commandments. Anyone's thoughts on this would be appreciated because I think "throwing out" the OT would help us in many ways.

We have an 11 month old little boy and I need to insure that I have physical custody of him. However, I don't work because I care for the child. My husband has changed a total of 5 diapers and has never feed him or anything. It would break my heart to have my son raised like his dad but how can I insure that I will have my son. I do want my husband to have visitation rights though.

i stored my caravan at his farm and i went to use it and he had sold it as he states i owed him money. i had not been up to the caravan for 12 months and had given him a cheque for the 12 months which he ripped up. he states he is going to take me to county court for the remainder of the money. i paid him another cheque for 100 pounds which he has cashed. i now have my caravan back

i had my dog for 2 whole yrs ever sence she was born, she had died (or stoped breathing for a few sec) twice i've brought her back to life both times, recently i had to move and my new landlord wouldnt let me keep her so i gave to someone to keep, about a week later my dog showed up at my door scraped brushed and badly battered not to mention she was really skinny, when i asked dude what happened he said that she wouldnt eat and that all she would is wine, it turns out he had fought her, now she dosent want to do anything she dosent want to play anymore she wont even wail her tail what should i do? (she is a pit)
