when u try to connect
their server will tell u which local numbers are available
so pick those number which are local to u
like if u live in new york
212-646-347-718 all are local number
but make sure u cancel the service before free trial end
because honestly both of them are very expensive when u use their dial up internet
so better cancel before it expire and then go to circuitcity store and sign up for people pc
you will get 6 month service for $4.79
but only if u sign up in circuitcity store.
and if u want dsl verizon or sbc is good
they have light package around $14 or $17
good luck

That would depend entirely on what telephone number is called. 95 percent of the time, there is a local number that can be called. But some places like Bard California do not have a local number and the only way to connect is via a long distance call.

Toshiba, Dell is to severe in fee and easily desires to cost you greater for extras that come nicely-known on different computers. I even have on no account owned an Apple in basic terms b/c it has continually had compatibility subjects with each and every thing else that's out on the industry.

First stay away from AOL.

Next it depends on how far away the phone number is for your Internet Service Provider. If it's a local number, then no long distance.

not sure about the long distance charges, but if she has unlimited long distance set up with her phone company, it wont matter. also, you can go to www.nocharge.com and there is a way to get online for free thru dial up, washington state foots the bill... but you have to have unlimited long distance on your home phone or the bill will be high

If it came with the computer then it's free. However, I would call customer service to check first.
