Agnostic/Pastafarian here, not trying to convert anyone. Just a question about the public schools.

Do you believe, as I do, that proponents of Intelligent Design are right in wanting intelligent design put into the curriculum of the public high school science class? Since evolution has never been proven as a fact, there should be intelligent discussion with alternative theories.

I also believe that the students should learn about the Flying Spaghetti Monster, which I believe created the human 4000 years ago. Even thou there is no empirical evidence, no one has ever disproved the existence of the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

So I ask, do you believe as I do, that we should teach children about evolution, Intelligent Design, and about the Flying Spaghetti Monster, since none have been proven as fact, and let the children decide.

I am not. I spoke to her for the first time in a long time yesterday, and she is planning to visit my family, which I am happy about, but religion always comes up. I have tried reasoning with her about it, to no avail. How can I, being agnostic, deal with this situation without being offensive? Should I take my ordination as an agnostic priest down? Should I hide who I am to make her happy? I just don't know. Any thoughts? To pre-emt all of the "you should convert" statements, No. I am very secure in my "Truth". I just don't want to be offensive to my Grandmother.

Jesus said in John 11:25-26, “25.Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies, 26.and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?"
For verse 25, if we assume Jesus talks about believers in him, those who believed in Jesus conclusively, they all shall arise and join him at his second coming. As with regard to verse 26, Jesus talks about those who are alive and believe in him shall never die. We never heard about any one who has ever escaped death. We know that all living believers had died. What is Jesus talking about in this verse? Please don’t tell me Jesus meant spiritually they will never die, because if He meant spiritually, He should have included the first type also, those who died believing in Him. And don’t tell that Jesus meant that from the moment you believe you start your everlasting life. If that is the case, then why did they die like those who died among the first type of believers?

You see, I may be cute on the outside but I'm a big nerd. A freaki'n brainiac! So you see, I built this time machine that rewinds in time now I'm stuck in the year 2001. I have no way to go back to the present because my time machine broke. So I'm 15 years old again. I've been stuck in 2001 since Feb. 2006. I have to build a new time machine to get back to the future. It will take me a few months. In the meanwhile, can someone please tell me what is going on in 2006? I miss being 20 years old, my girlfriend, my friends, and mom and dad! And my cat, Lily!

I predict it will eventually become part of our vocabulary because it is so prevalent, and will find its way into the oxford english dictionary. God forbid it PLEASE!
I put this question on here before but under a different HEADING. This time I am hoping for some more comment under this heading.
