Not too sure if what I'm doing is what you were looking for - something about joining 9 dots to be joined by drawing 4 straight/continous lines. Anyway, here it goes:
Draw line, crossing out 1 2 3 and extending beyond (outside the box!) to A
From A, diagonally down, crossing out 6 8 and extending beyond to B
From B, back up, crossing out 7 4 till 1
and to complete, from 1, diagonally down crossing out the remaining 5 9.

Start in one corner, draw the first line horizontally through three dots and keep going past the third dot. Draw the second line diagonally down through two dots and keep going until bellow the first dot. Draw the third line back to the first dot then the final line gets the remaining dots.
