My parents want me to get married but I don't want to. In our religion we have arranged marriages but the girl is allowed to say no. I said no and my father said "I'm not going to force you since it goes against our religion." Then 2 days later he tells me "You're getting married I can't let you say no." needless to say I was crushed but at the same time I was really hurt now I can't figure out what to do. I know that if I tell the guy to his face 9i'm supposed to meet him in december) that I dont wanna marry him he wont marry me because as far as he knows i do. I don't think it's right for me to jsut marry the guy cuz my p's want me to and also when he doesn't know that I dont wanna marry him. Anyway tho the problem with telling him to his face is that it will shame my family and they have already almost outrightly told me that if I dont marry him they'll make me miserable. I have no idea what to do and I am begging help from anyone. I am 19 and american but i have no way to stop this

I am switching to Cingular. (Because everyone I talk to has it.) I REALLY like the Treo but will not use the internet properties.

Be honest. I will tell you mine to be fair.... Best~I can say that you can tell me anything (in confidence or not) and I am not one to judge, I can be very understanding and compassionate. I only hope that someone can do the same for me.

Worst~ I am selfish, and even though I will let others confide in me with confidence it is very hard for me to be able to do the same for someone else. That can be incredibly frustrating for the people who want to be close to me but I find it very hard to break that last wall down.

This whole "liquid ban" seems extreme to me. My boyfriend flew today and sat on the plane for an hour before it took off from the runway, with no air conditioning (the engines were off) and nothing to drink, when it was 95 degrees outside.

I just don't think it's reasonable that you aren't allowed to bring drinking water that you purchased at the airport on the airplane with you... They'd know you got it at the airport, because you've already passed through security.

And what is going to stop a terrorist from disguising these chemicals as baby formula or insulin, two of the liquids on the "allowed" list?

Leptospirosis -- VERY IMPORTANT PLEASE READ


This incident happened recently in North Texas. A woman went boating one Sunday taking with her some cans of coke which she put into the refrigerator of the boat. On Monday she was taken to the hospital and placed in the Intensive Care Unit. She died on Wednesday.

The autopsy concluded she died of Leptospirosis. This was traced to the
can of coke she drank from, not using a glass. Tests showed that the can was infected by dried rat urine and hence the disease Leptospirosis.

Rat urine contains toxic and deathly substances. It is highly recommended thoroughly wash the upper part of soda cans before drinking out of them.
The cans are typically stocked in warehouses and transported straight to
the shops without being cleaned.

A study at NYCU showed that the tops of soda cans are more

Contaminated than public toilets (i.e).. full of germs and bacteria. So wash them with water before putting them to the mouth to avoid any kind of fatal accident.

Leptospirosis is an infectious disease that affects humans and animals. It results in a wide range of symptoms, and some people may have no symptoms at all. It is caused by a spiral-shaped bacterium (spirochete). Symptoms include high fever, chills, muscle aches, headache, vomiting, diarrhea, and jaundice (! yellow skin and eyes).



A definitive diagnosis requires laboratory testing of a blood or urine sample. Early detection is important because the disease can cause serious complications if not treated early in its course. These include kidney damage (nephrosis), meningitis (inflammation of the tissue around the brain or spinal cord), resp iratory distress and/or liver failure.

Im engaged I've been with my fiance for over 2 years now. he's the only guy I've ever been with.
