Try to write an equation to solve it, if possible.
Question 1
B=blue
R=red
We know that she sold 6 more red than blue, therefor R=B+6
Blue plus red is equal to 36, in equation form
B+R=36
or B+(B+6)=36
solving for B
2B=30
B=15
Therefore R=21
Question 2
First day =F
Second day=S
F=S+45
therefore
F+S=195
(S+45)+S=195
2S=150
S=75
So he worked 120 the first day and 75 the second day
