WTF is a dadge? lol You would be better off in the long run keeping the 17 inch rims due to the ride and gas mileage especially later when you sell it.

Usually. In some cases, the brakes will not clear the smaller wheels, so make sure there's a bit of room between the brake calipers and the wheels.

I've got to echo what the other answerers said about keeping the overall tire diameter the same. At the very least, this will keep your speedometer reading correct. In some cases, putting the wrong diameter tires on there will confuse the computer, too.

In many cases, going to smaller wheels while keeping the same tire height will result in a slightly smoother ride but possibly less precise handling.

keep the overall tire diameter the same, i.e. if it comes with a tire on a 17" rim thats 35 inches around then you will want the same circumfrence on the 16" wheel

Yeah as long as the bolt circle and the backspacing is the same on both rims and there is no interference with brake parts. You will have to have ABS and Speedometer recalibrated. Not too big a deal.

yes.. you can do that.. but make sure the tire diameter stays the same as the 17 inch ones were other wise it could affect your speedometer.
