does anyone think the pacers will make the playoffs this year?
they're suppost to be getting al harrington back. he is one of my favorites, he averaged 18.1 pts last year with atlanta so he will be a huge help. I think jamaal tinsley sucks and should be traded because he fakes small injuries and gets millions to sit on the bench hurt, i could do that.
stephen jackson also sucks, he runs slower than my grandma and is a very streeky player, he'll score 20+ pts then come back the next game and have 5pts, his defense is horrible as well, we should get rid of him before he turns into another ron artest (without the great defense). whats your opinion?

We had a big fight yesterday. It all started when some girl called him and I asked him who she was. Then I asked him if he's commited to our relationship and he said that he can't be commited to me 'cause I don;t do anything for him. He also said he will never marry 'cause eveone in his family is divorced and he doesn't want the same thing. He told me I shouldn't be mad that he talks with other girls 'cause he's not my husband, yet I clean, cook, and do his laundry like i'm his wife, but he still tells me I don't do anything for him. I don't get it. Is there still a point of being together? I know he loves me and that he cares. We're a year and a half together, we don't live together.

Many Christians, most of which reside in USA say that Israelis are chosen people of god and the land of Israel belongs to them because of a promise given to them in the Torah. Many Americans say this without observing an obvious contradiction. By this definition or justification the land that Americans live on today belongs to Native Americans. North America was stolen from the Native Americans and has since been colonialized by foreign peoples. I wonder how accepting you Americans would be if the Native Americans decided to take back their land by force, from you, without any compensation. It was, by gods design their land before it was stolen by Europeans. If the logic of "Chosen people" and "promised land" is your justification for what is happening in Israel, then stand by your words and give your land back to the people it belongs to, the Indians.You expect the Palistinians to give the land to the Israelis, without payment, but you wouldn't give up your homes to Indians for free.

My roommate is looking for some ideas for a cheap but romantic one year anniversary present for her boyfriend. She doesn't have alot of money to spend, and she wants an original idea. I see so many answers out there regarding prayer and asking the Lord and God for help to "see them through" things, like tough times, bad luck, etc., but it befuddles me because I thought God wanted us to help ourselves. (The Lord helps those who help themselves.) Do people who pray every day believe that those who die just didn't ask for help or deserved to die too soon? Do they believe that the people who die have gone because their loved ones aren't worthy any longer of having them around? I certainly hope not, but this is the message I've been getting lately, and frankly it's making me mad. Does a poor person in a ghetto who gets killed in a drive-by deserve to die because they weren't good enough or they were too good and their family wasn't good enough? If they would have prayed, would they still be alive? Can someone explain this blind faith to me? I've lost too much already and can't seem to grasp that concept any longer.
