Um I think that you should think about the wonderful things you had with him, the good and the bad. It will help you easily remember him. I know that it can be tough, and I know that you are going to miss him but you should think about everything that he did for you, and you hold know that he is in heaven watching over you. So when you look to the sky you should remember that he is always there watching over you. And at his funeral if it hasn't happen yet than you should say some of the wonderful things he did for you and how much you are going to miss him. I'm sure that he would have loved that. Then you and your Mom could make a scrap book of him and whenever you fell lonely you should look at the scrap book and think about the way he laugh and the way he look when he was happy, you could remember his voice, his touch, his smile and everything about him. And also you should also remember that when he is up in heaven that I'm sure that he misses you and your family.

I am very sorry about your pain. Dealing with the details the last three days has been especially hard. There is nothing that anyone can say in your time of pain that is going to help you get thru this. but just knowing that so many people care does help. Even strangers can tell you how sorry they are, because we all have been touched by grief at some point in our lives.
I hope you had a good relationship with your dad, you will always have your memories. You will get thru this and the days will get easier. Your dad is in a better place, (I hope you have some spiritual beliefs). Bless you and yours

The only thing that I can tell you is that it does get better. I know that isn't much help now. My father was sick for a few months before he died, so it was not a big surprise, but it was still bad. I am sorry I don't have any words to help. I will be thinking of you.

Know in your heart that he is at peace. It will get easier to accept in time, but it will take a while so give yourself time to grieve. Talk to sympathetic friends and/or other family members. If after a while you feel you need someone else to talk to or have unresolved issues that you need to deal with, there are grief counselors that may be able to help you come to terms with your loss.
I am very sorry. I really do wish there was something better I could say...

There is a song that touches my heart and I would like to pass it on to you...it will help you.
Who can say for certain
Maybe you're still here
I feel you all around me
Your memories so clear
Deep in the stillness
I can hear you speak
You're still an inspiration
Can it be (?)
That you are mine
Forever love
And you are watching over me from up above
Fly me up to where you are
Beyond the distant star
I wish upon tonight
To see you smile
If only for awhile to know you're there
A breath away's not far
To where you are
Are you gently sleeping
Here inside my dream
And isn't faith believing
All power can't be seen
As my heart holds you
Just one beat away
I cherish all you gave me everyday
'Cause you are mine
Forever love
Watching me from up above
And I believe
That angels breathe
And that love will live on and never leave
Fly me up
To where you are
Beyond the distant star
I wish upon tonight
To see you smile
If only for awhile
To know you're there
A breath away's not far
To where you are
I know you're there
A breath away's not far
To where you are
Its Josh Groban...enjoy and God Bless

I am really sorry about your dad. Maybe you can make collage of pictures of him remembering all the memories while you do it. It may help you heal. I cant tell you how to deal with it, because everyone grieves differently. Write a letter to him filled with all your memories and good times together. Keep it tucked away and read it off and on as time passes. Sorry about your dad........

I am so sorry! If he died from being sick, just think: Now he's not sick anymore. And (if he was a Christian), he's in a better place.
It all depends on if he was a Christian. If he wasn't, then he's in a place of torment called hell. (It's not a bad word if you're talking about the place.)
I hope he was saved and I hope you are too!
You'll feel better eventually, don't worry.
