Many Christians, most of which reside in USA say that Israelis are chosen people of god and the land of Israel belongs to them because of a promise given to them in the Torah. Many Americans say this without observing an obvious contradiction. By this definition or justification the land that Americans live on today belongs to Native Americans. North America was stolen from the Native Americans and has since been colonialized by foreign peoples. I wonder how accepting you Americans would be if the Native Americans decided to take back their land by force, from you, without any compensation. It was, by gods design their land before it was stolen by Europeans. If the logic of "Chosen people" and "promised land" is your justification for what is happening in Israel, then stand by your words and give your land back to the people it belongs to, the Indians. You expect the Palistinians to give the land to the Israelis, without payment, but you wouldn't give up your homes to Indians for free.

1. We are America's rightful owners. We built America into what it is today, after chasing off some aborigines. They have no claim to this country.
2. Jews established the state of Israel and built Jerusalem some 3,000 years ago, and despite having been militarily conquered many times, have continuously inhabited Israel and Jerusalem.
3. Transjordan, a British protectorate, was divided by Britain and the world, in order to restore Jews to their homeland. It was not 'taken' from anybody else. And there was no such thing as a 'palestinian' in 1948. The term was created in the 1960's.
4. The history of the world is the history of tribal pressures and population movement, and the conquest of inferior tribes and civilizations. So it was with the Americas.
5. The argument you've put forward is not logical, it's just silly.

"Native" Americans don't have a deed from God. Also, according to "Native" Americans, the land can't be owned.
