Anyone who pays close attention to the Old Testament will see that God is rather rough around the edges - rudely barking rebukes and committing deplorable social faux pas, such as indelicately telling people to kill their children without so much as a perfunctory "please." Clearly, the God of the Old Testament is no one a civil person would have in his home. Jesus, on the other hand, while hardly poised, is so thoroughly pleasant (except to that dreadful mother of His, who was always pestering Him in public for more wine), that one can easily overlook his lack of polish. Every time I find myself wanting to correct Him on some inartfully phrased request or awkward social contretemps, I remind myself "Well, he is rather well behaved for a carpenter."

Can one accept a relationship based on friendship & common beliefs alone. Or does attraction actually play a part & is a prerequisite to a successful loving relationship. Its a big decision as I do not have the finances or emotional support (I was abroad for 2 years and just broke from the love of my life, and so moved back home to Canada but to a brand new city). I have always thought of going to university and felt ripped off due to all the hardships/neglect from a child. yes, Ido it for self esteem which makes me suffer but also because I do not enjoy dental hygiene at all. I dont know what career to choose but I know that going to school can help you find that. There is a great program at a university here that has an arts and business co-op degree program. So I can take all those interestnig arts courses which I like and mix it with business skills. then you go on a co-op to all these diff't companies and that way you can also help pay for your education! I know that I like the arts and like some business so going to school can help me find what I like! this program is 4 years 8 months. but sure i am hesitant as its a big risk in every aspect
