Pinochle is THE game in my family, and if anyone knows how to play, is it easy/how long did it take you to learn? Have any good links or tips on how to play? (I know you have to have a specific pinochle deck to play)...

My 1 month old has a dark red/purple bump inside and slightly on the outside of his top lip. The bump doesn't hurt him and it looks like a blood blister... My mother in law says it's a Hemangioma. It doesn't seem to be getting bigger and it lays pretty flat. Is there any way to tell if this is a blood blister, normal birth mark, or if it's a Hemangioma?

With all the discussion of gay marraige and the definition of marriage it made me remember something.

I recall a documentary where this couple in Isreal didn't want to have an orthodox wedding but if they didn't have one their marraige wouldn't be recognized by the state. So they had two weddings one to be recognized by the state and another for them personally. Is this truely the law in Isreal?

It just makes me wonder in all the debate going on here in America. You get a marraige certificate for legal reasons in this country and it has nothing to do with religion. You get married by a pastor, priest, whatever to have you marraige sanctioned by god. If you only have a wedding certificate you marriage isn't in "the eyes of god". If you get married at a church your marraige isn't recognized by the state. I just don't understand if the church and state don't recognize the others "marraige" anyways why does the church care what the state does.

I understanding a good deal about religion, more than some about the occult, a little bit about magical systems (a few of them at best). So what’s up with Satanism? I know this is kind of “jackass-ish” question, but do you get the Heaven if your bad? What do you get out of it???

I've been hearing stories of how Iraqis are enjoying freedom and democracy these days. Did you hear about the shepherds who were killed for not putting diapers on their goats because the local imams decreed that the sight of goats' bottoms were too tempting the men? Did you hear about the grocer who was killed, along with his family, for displaying vegetables in a "suggestive" manner? Do you hear about the women who are arrested on trumped up charges including witchcraft and murder, are taken to the local jails, where they are gang raped and beaten until they confess to any crime, which is actually better than being released and murdered by their own families for having maybe been dishonored, whether or not it is true.

Do you believe US troops are really there to "defend our freedom?" Are their lives being lost so these atrocities can take place? These maniacs are allowed to run rampant thanks to the US liberation. I don't consider what WE'VE done to Iraq to be an improvement!

blame madonna's hit single "hung up" from last year that brought back the sounds of post disco/early 80s synthesizers in modern-day pop music. months later, jessica simpson gets into the scene with her biggest hit ever "a public affair" and gnarls barkley with "crazy". now justin timberlake's song "sexyback" has a retro feel with the computerized voices and club beats mixed in.

i don't know if it's me or the sounds from the 80s has made a huge comeback in music.
