WHY? would you stop going to see doctors?? what you should do is to go see your most trusted doctor, tell him/her you are addicted and ask for referral. HOW you became addicted has a lot to do with the cure. Psych therapy will likely be needed as well as substitute narcotics to wean you off the addiction. This is a very complicated issue and most family doctors do not want to get involved. just ask for a referral to someone who is drug knowledgable and can refer you to a specific treatment provider.

Maybe not doctors.. you can go to a therapist to get some help to determine what it needed and help you reach your goal : being drug-free.
