hi i got the telescope from tejraj and co in mumbai. those guys are supposed to be the best in india but even after following the exact instructions in the manual(which is woefully very technically written) all i can see is a black space with a sort of cross hair even broad daylight !what am i doing wrong?

My mother had me and my brother natural and refussed the drugs. I was almost 9 pouds when i was born. My wife had one but after 15 hrs of labor that was induced. I was so proud of her for toughing it out. Just wondering what other people did.

I happen to be agnostic. I'm sure there are similar questions out there, but I'm curious myself, and there aren't any that are still open for discussion related to this topic.

I'm agnostic, but I want to be religious. It's just, due to my chosen agnosticism, it's difficult for me to blindly accept what society thrusts into my face. How can we confirm that everything said in the Bible was true? How can we confirm that He is real? Being agnostic, I am NOT confirming and NOT denying His existence. I'm just... "on the fence". I WANT Him to be real, and WANT to believe, but being a true believer has nothing to do with wants or determination. and EVERYTHING to do with faith.
I can't have faith unless I can truly believe He is real; right now... no matter how badly I want Him to be, it's hard to believe. I can say I do, but ultimately, I do NOT say I'm a believer, because I'm not. I just want to be one.
Anyway, here's what I want answered. I know why I'M agnostic, why are you?

A woman friend of mine, who is 40 and divorced, is seriously involved with her boyfriend, but is still very close friends (mostly by email) with a married man. They met after he was married but before the boyfriend was around.
They communicate almost every day but the wife doesn't know anything about it. She told her boyfriend they are just friends but doesn't know or talk to the wife.
Also they will each travel 45 minutes to meet half way for lunch or dinner occasionally.
He will travel an hour and a half to help out at her place and cook a meal there.
Is something wrong with this situation?

the Jews have Elohim and the Muslims have Allah. I find it a bit strange that the same "Pagan" word for god gets picked up by the Jews and Muslims. o strange how the human mind works.
