Brazil's performance in the WC was bad. England? Well, we all know why England only won once..and that's way back in 1966. Ronaldinho was totally disappointing. Other than that, it was fun and I'm glad that Italy won. Can't wait for 2010.

poor refereeing, some even causes the blunder. too many dismissal in the tournament.

the favourite team to win, lost in the quarter-final, poor showing by BRAZIL, ENGLAND's lottery of penalties does not favour them & SPAIN yet again be the underachiever!!

Asian teams all but largely dissappointed, JAPAN & KOREA REPUBLIC perhaps could have perform much better.

the total goals in the tournament is by far the lowest in the last 5 edition since 1990. perhaps, nowadays teams are now focused on defence rather than attack.

the biggest flop has to be Ronaldinho, only a year ago he was the World Player of the year & yet nothing to show this time. many other players did not perform well, such as Raul Gonzalez, Alessandro Del Piero, Frank Lampard, Adriano & so forth.

the final could have gone either way but the red card really turn game into ITALY's favour in the end. let's hope that the next world cup will be the greatest show on the planet.

I love the German team, and I will support them 110%. They are still young and it's a team with LOTS of potentials that I hope them they'll develope themselves as invincible and unbeatable team like Brazil, and definitely win the World Cup 2010. But right now, WC 2006's over, I'm focusing on EURO 2008 and coach Low's performance.

As for performances:

- Brazil will eventurally have a better comeback with their new coach and ex-soccer superstar. Therefore, the new super stars better watch out for their egos...b/c the old ones will teach the young ones how to control.
- For England...I don't know what Sven Eriksson was doing: putting 1 striker in the field, esp. IT'S ROONEY! England's never that good anyway. Good luck to them though.
- I hope Italy won't come back even though they are automatically qualify. But it's kind of obvious since 75-80% of this year's team mates will be gone, and the team will be a brand new team full of newbies. They still need to nurish themselves overtime. They are not my champions for what did they in order to win the cup. PK was revenege over their 1994 lose to Brazil.

Over all its good event but dissapointment find in lots of things. first of all every body is talking about Brazil and very much expectations are expected for world cup win but brazil can not perform up to the mark.same like england team didnt show his worth and Ronaldinho also looking like an ordinary player even not a single match he looks in his worth.

The motive is practical...Materazzi irrittated him...Just like usual men and women Zidane headbutted him.. Ifit used to be me on the situation of Zidane I could have complained to the referee...So that I can get the cup. Fraance could have absolutely bought the FIFA international cup if Zidane used to be there...

ronaldinho could of done much better, in fact Brazil could of improved. I love Brazil but they need some new players. But I still think the amazing Kaka` will still thrill us with his great skills.

I thought that the referees were in the way. They were calling too many harmless fouls, and missing too many offsides calls. Also, it seemed like the big countries got all of the calls and the smaller countries like the ones from Africa, and Latin America were getting no calls at all.
