I bought a solution called "clean lens"lens mending kit.though I'm not sure if it is the same brand that was advertised on tv a while back. I bought it at a dollar store for 7$. despite what the other said ,you can get a good effect with it. you might can find similar item at eckerds/walgreens etc...
its all in the application process, you might want to practice on an old pair first to get your technique down. it doesn't really matter if you don't get it right because you can remove the layer and retry/recoat.
the real power of this product could be as a protectant, if you get a new pair of glasses you like, coat them and scratches will just affect the coating

It depends what type of scratch, and what kind of glasses. If it's small scratches that can only be seen in the light, or if its very very light scratches (not very deep, but barely visible without light), then use the solution the other lady mentioned. If it is a very deep scratch, then you can soften it with the solution, but it probably wont fix it. If its like my glasses, trying to fix it with anything might make the paint chip off, leaving holes instead of scratches, but i think thats because mine are made of a plastic, and i dont think that would happen to a metal pair. If your crazy enough, and the scratches are bad enough, you could repaint them, but i think that thats a little too out there! Good luck.

Tried it. Absolutely did not work. Put a coating on my lens that looked like super glue. When looking thru glasses, images looked wavy. Headache!
