I miss my ex and i want him back but we decided to be friends. What should i do?

I was going out with this guy from a different school and i told him that i was confused and if he'd wait for me and he said yes. When i was ready to get back with him, he said he was confused so we both decided to be friends but once in a while we'll tell each other that we miss one another. Is it best to introduce a new kitten to a 1.5 yr old cat around the time I move or after?

My girlfriend wants to get a new kitten after we move into our new place in two weeks. She thinks that we should get the new kitten ASAP (like within two weeks) of moving in, so that our current cat (who is a one and a half) will not feel as dominant in the space.

I'm worried that a new place, me moving in with my girlfriend, and a new kitten might be too much for my cat. I don't want to overwhelm her. But my gf thinks that is the perfect time to get a kitten. I'm not super worried, but she doesn't have me convinced.

Thoughts? I'm particularly interested in people who've had experiance with introducing new cats to older cats or who've worked in the vet/shelter/pet psych field.

Anyone ever had a tourist visa interview? Need some advice for my wife...?

my wife is a filipina. she will be applying for her tourist visa in november to come visit me in Japan. im a military member stationed here. Im just curious if anyone has ever interviewed for a tourist visa, and what kind of questions the interviewer asked you? i want to give her as much advice as I can when she goes in. any help would be appreciated.

I'm very self conscious over 2 things. How can I fix them?

I used to have a huge space between my 2 front teeth and I had braces for a few years that fixed the gap. But now the gap is coming back (while moving around a lot I misplaced my retainer then found it but it doesn't fit anymore). So now I have a gap coming back and my teeth aren't the whitest and one tooth is still crooked (my mom couldn't afford all the dental work when I was a teenager). I don't have a lot of money but I really want nice teeth.

And the second thing I hate on my body is how thick my leg hair is...when I shave you can still see the hair. It looks really bad when I wear shorts so I never do so my skin is really pale which makes my legs look worse. Is the a way to make my leg hair less thick and noticable.
Any advice is helpful.

What do you do when you have a mother inlaw that lies about everything?

I'm serious, she lies so much that she even believes her own lies! I have stayed away from her cause of the bad influence she could have on my children. This is someone that got arrested and gave her sisters name! Her sister had to get a lawyer just to clear her own name! Do you think it's wrong for me to keep my kids away from their grandmother?
