Archers don't suck. =P i think Archers are some of the most enjoyable characters, once you get a couple of skills mastered.
no matter what job you take, you should spend levels 10-15 (8-15 for magician) at Henesys Training Grounds 1, on blue and red snails, and the small mushrooms.
at level 15, you can move up a level and fight the slimes there. there is a hidden street near Ellinia that has nothing but Slimes, but it's usually almost as crowded as the spot near Henesys, so it really isn't worth the walk in my opinion.
at level 20 you can take on Pigs and Ribbon Pigs in the hidden street "Pig Beach."
as for skills, your first SP (Skill Point) should go into Critical Shot. this gives you a small chance to do a 'critical hit' and do extra damage. it may not seem like much, but they add up over time. after that, you want to put 3 SP into The Blessing of Amazon. 3 points there unlocks The Eye of Amazon, which increases your range. this means you can kill things from a greater distance, which is a big deal in a crowded map with Assassins and Magicians competing with you for monsters.
after you master Eye of Amazon, your next goal is to complete Critical Shot. once mastered, you'll get a 40% chance to do a critical hit, which will do double normal damage.
now you have to choose between Arrow Blow or Double Shot as a special attack. Arrow Blow fires one arrow for 260% damage (at master level). Double Shot fires two arrows for 130% damage each. Arow Blow uses fewer arrows and MP, which can save money in the short-term. Double Shot gives you twice the opportunity to do at least one critical hit, but it uses 2 arrows and 2 MP more than Arrow Blow.
i say to take Double Shot. you'll make at least one critical on 80% of your attacks--that's a huge difference in damage.
now you have 9 SP left before you hit level 30 and can take your second job advancement. you can either bring The Blessing of Amazon to level 12, or put 9 SP into Focus. again, the choice is up to you, but when you start to think long-term, the answer is pretty obvious.
Blessing of Amazon is a "Passive" skill, which means that it is always working. it costs you nothing in MP, HP, or arrows. Focus is an "Active" skill, which means that you have to turn it on. doing so costs MP (costing about 12 MP each time), and eventually it turns itsself off. at level 9, you have to re-activate the skill every 160 seconds. the MP cost will start to add up, especially later when you're using other skills like Soul Arrow, Strafe, etc. there may come a time when you just stop using Focus all together. Blessing of Amazon, however, is always on, and costs nothing as i said earlier.
something else to think of--you're an Archer. you're almost pure DEX. high DEX = high Avoid. why waste MP to boost a stat that will already be insanely high?

Thailand armour shop sells lvl 30 & 35 armour. And its greater much less high priced than orbis or el nath. additionally, i woudlnt propose finding lvl 30+ products in the loose industry as its greater good to discover low lvl stuff there.
