That was one of my favorites! It was different but I thought it pushed all the characters and they did a great job. It was the episode in which Buffy blurted out her unhappiness at being brought back from the dead - from heaven or something like that. I thought Dawn was able to stand out in that show, too. I also liked the one where there was no speaking and the Halloween episode when they all got stuck in their costumes. I think those freaky twists made the show even more interesting.
BTW - I have the CD of "The Musical" and play it in my car every now and then. Fun!
I got into Buffy about the 3rd season and when the series ended I bought the videos and then DVD's. I'm watching them again now - up to Season 3.

I love Buffy, however the musical episode would have to be my least favorite of every single episode...and I've seen them all.
My fave episodes are Hush, Tabula Rasa, Something Blue, Fool for Love, Lover's Walk, and The Wish. I love them all, but I never tire of these episodes.

I'm not sure I was really crazy about the last few seasons or that
episode at all but I really loved it until David Boreanz left and they
did that spin of of Angel. I liked Angel too but I still think Buffy was
the best the 1st few seasons. I miss that show!

my favorite one is the episode that buffy went crazy and thought that her world didn't exsist. that she was a mental patient in a different world. and that she had made up her friends and being the slayer.
but i do like the singing one too.

very cool stuff, love buffy .sarah michelle was very brave as she is NOT a singer...........it was very cool. i love musical episodes of most shows, if you liked xena ,check out the lyre,lyre episode , lucy lawless has an amazing voice.

Very clever episode.Fundamentally different than the award winning "Hush" episode.It was a great show.

i have all the episodes and it's my kids favorite episode. especially anya being scared of bunnys and singing about it.
