If we aren't perfect, or we screwed up, doesn't the idea of not entering heaven and burning forever seem a little punitive ? I don't mean God talking to you or showing you a miracle and you decide to be a satanist or something like that. I mean if you sin and aren't perfect, fall a lot - whatever, but still believe and try to be good. Even commit a mortal sin in a moment of weakness.

I want to buy 2 tickets for the Shakira concert at the Toyota Center in Houston, TX, and this will be my first time attending one. I'm not sure which will be the ideal seats to purchase. When I walk into my bathroom (and often times in the restrooms at different department stores and restaurants, I notice that the water level is changing slightly higher and lower. This is even true in my basement where the floor is cement. could this be caused by movement in the city sewer lines from other homes?

The labels that others put on you...or the labels they put on themselves? I've seen alot of comments on here like 'Well a true "blabla" would never do that' or 'their not a real ****'. Then I read one today, someone got really upset because someone else claimed to be a Christian/Pagan!!
Now personally, I don't like being called a 'Satan Worshiper' but it really doesn't bother me if someone wants to label themselves as a cross religion.
So what upsets you more, a person who uses the same label with different beliefs, or the label someone else put on you because of your beliefs?

I had three sisters, two older & one younger.
The oldest is so dependent on drugs & alcohol that I haven't really see the sister I knew in years.
The next to the oldest died in June of this year.
The youngest thinks I have ruined her life, because I dated her husband before she even knew him.
Once we were all so very close. I tried recently, after my older sister died, to connect with my other two sisters. They avoided me like the plague. My mom still tries to take care of them, and make excuses for them, and I told them if they wanted to be around me they need to be responsible like an adult. I will not take care of them, and for that they avoid me and turn away from me.
What is happening???
