i was watching this morning program and it said that three recently wounded soldiers in Iraq that meet at the whitehouse were sworn in as US citizens.

how can they fight for us when they are even a citizen?

I had a tooth pulled out 5 days ago, and everything seems to be going fine. It's just that because where the tooth was (behind the top front teeth), I've had difficulty eating and drinking. The problem is that whenever I do eat or drink something, a while later, this clear gunky stuff appears on my teeth, it's like thick saliva. Is this appearing because of the way I've had to eat in order to avoid the hole near my pallette, or it something else? I've drank a lot of water hoping this would alleviate the problem, but I get the same thing. Has anyone else had this?

My Western Digital HDD model 2500JD is giving up on me. :((
I want ot buy a new HDD but don't know for which brand should I go...hm...I heard Maxtor is good also Seagate, but Seagate are very cheap=(in my opinion) low performance. I want a ATA133 based drive with built-in windows recognisence. I say this because I headr the Maxtor need some special drivers so that WinXP can recognize it. I don't have that much money to spend, but I would rather buy a small capacity but highly reliable HDD, than a crapy big sized HDD. I am really stuned because I knew that WD are top of the line HDDs, and now it's giving up on me, although I had it for 6 months. What advice would you give me?
My system is not an old one, it's just 6 months old:MB=Asus A8N-SLI DELUXE, CPU=AMD Athlon 64 3500+ Clawhammer core, RAM=Kingmax PC3200 512Mb*4=2Gb, VGA=Asus 6600LE/256 MB, Greentech power source 450W.

I have just began selling items on ebay, i have just put 5 items on by auctions, with a low start bib price and no reserve, but they dont seem to be selling, ive had views but no bids of any of them. How can i be successful at selling items by ebay?
I cannot affort the extras, such as, buy now items, etc.

Should people who ride unrestrained in the car be used for crash tests in similar situtations. Eg If someone is busted sitting unrestrained with a child in their lap, should they be used in a crash test the shows what happens to teach them a lesson, and make crash tests more realistic? Harsh maybe, but what else can be done to stop people riding unrestrained in cars

We had great founders and great principles of a counstution and bill of rights, but things are going down hill. Our people are accepting things like sheep. They are ignorant and intollerant and getting more so. When I traveled over seas the 1st time when I was able I was so supprised on how people hated us. When I got on the net when it became available same thing. Now I understand with the way people present themselves why people hate us. Please realize not all of us are like this. Some of us are very loving, accepting and tollerant. Some of us are thinkers and do not blindly accept like sheep. I hope we can get back to our old values. Not all of us are bad. Our country is based on good and hopefully we can get to our old values. I am truly sorry if you have been insulted or had an experience with the "dirty" american or someone has cursed at you. I apologize for their behavior.

My brother who i have a terrible relationship with decided that he fancied my best friend. My best friend knew my feelings towards him and how when we were younger he took everything that I cherished away from me, including the relationship i had with my mother. She lied and cheated her way out of the triangle by spinning me crap saying that she didn't want anything to do with my brother initally. A few weeks after I discovered they had been sleeping together after finding them in a tent.I was horrified and disgusted that my bestfriend had betrayed me and lied. She has split up with him a couple of times but always goes back. When she's between these periods of singledom she is around me constantlty telling me that she can't believe that she put him before me etc etc. When they're together I don't see anything of her and she practically blanks me if I see her.How would you react if this was your situation, am i being silly, and should I tell her to hit the road. Sensible answers only
