I don't buy extras also, but my items sell.
Don't worry if they don't sell the first time, u can re-list for free again usually.
Try changing the category also.. although if people are viewing them, then they are findng them OK.
Make your description simple, and striking and note all the benefits of your product, also note down how much you think it is worth, so that the price you are Ebaying it for is much cheaper.
Ebay is a bit of luck too, and depends on the demand at the time, and also the people looking through Ebay.. someone might come around one week, and another week fewer people.

i've been selling stuff on ebay for a year, and here's what you should know:
people don't big on items until roughly the last 2 and a half days.
0.99 cents is the starting price people look for.
remember to spell every thing in your item right. say some one else is selling the exact same thing; just copy and paste the title of their bid.
use the lowest shipping price possible. With USPS you can get most things under 5 pounds for $4.10, plus $1.79 for shipping. So charging about $6.00 is a good price.
Go to ebay's want it now page and see if any people there want any of your items. if they do, post your item to them. http://pages.ebay.com/wantitnow/
good luck with your auctions.

Sometimes you have to list an item three or four times before it sells. Maybe leave a few weeks between listings. Some items are more likely to sell during particular seasons. If you have to re-list, consider adding that cost to the starting price of the item.

eBay is the largest online marketplace and one of the most popular ways to earn an income from home with a PC and internet connection. Selling on eBay is inexpensive and easy to start. Ebay has a number of tools for sellers to maximise sales. These are eBay Pulse, Hot items report, merchandising calendar. By sourcing products at a low price, you can increase your profit. E-Bay is a very misunderstood site. Most people believe they can stick on anything at any time and make free money. I have been on E-bay for 2 years & know everything from most viewed items right through to cutting the costs of E-bay's harsh fee's.
My rating is 350 at 100%. My best advice is if its too big or worth little you may aswell give it away or head to the kitchen bin...

Most shoppers on ebay avoid sellers with no feedback. I would suggest you buy items in order to get positive feedback as a buyer, then try to sell your items. You need to establish yourself as an ebayer before people will trust you and bid on your items.

Most bids will come at the last minute, most of the activity on your items will take place during the last two days of the auction.

I have like 2000 items listed. I'm lucky if 50 of them get bids. I just keep on re-listing them until they sell. Every time Ebay has free listings i re-list them all

Don't panic. Most things don't do much until the auction is nearly over, as people put in snipe bids. It is always possible that nobody actually wants what you're selling, though - that has happened to me!
