42 Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and came from God; nor have I come of Myself, but He sent Me. 43 Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word. 44 You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.

Did anyone see the Oprah show yesterday about the working poor? It breaks my heart to think that 300 million people in the US are working full time jobs and still living below the poverty level (~10% of the US population). I think that is enough evidence to show that it is necessary to raise the minimum wage. What do you think?

I think there is UFO technology and everything is secretive. My fiancee and i are taking a vacation from one another for some time, because she said that she needed time to figure things out about her life. She says that she is sad because of her instability about her goals and herself, and all that she knows that she wants is to be with me, she just does not know when. She then goes and asks me for help to help her figure things out, but then when i try to help, she no longer wants my help. I have been trying to be very understanding, but i am just confused. I do not really know what to do; i want to give her the space she needs, but i want to help her as well. it is very hard for me to adjust from a very intimate relationship with a long future, to a very uncertain relationship with a shaky future. I just do not know what to do. What can i do??????
