I built a website a while back and Its not really for the public but I would like to know what i should do with it to make people want to get on! nothing nast please!

Well, that's rather contradictory. However, the best way to 'drive' people to your site is to get it out in front of people to begin with. And the key to that is being unique. The problem with that is, if you're too unique, nobody will be interested in what you're trying to provide. one way to get your site in front of a lot of people is to ask, or answer, a question here, and, be sure that you either put your url here, or in your answers profile so people will see it.
