I read it a couple weeks ago. I thought the care and love of friends portrayed in that book was simply lovely. I was so upset when Sister Husband passed away. The ending was good, and I thought everyone got what they deserved. what are your opinions on it?

Given that I see little difference between suicide bombers killing civilians and warplanes bombing civilian targets. If these underequipped armies had planes the tactic of suicide bombings would be less prevelant. What do you think?

We read Hitler's Concentration camps were bad. But how do they compare with the hell of African Prisons and Remands? Were people in Hitler's camps hardly eat one 'meal' (you cannot even give your dog), sleep on overcrowded mosquito-laden rooms without beddings, for more than 16 hours a day (a room for 16, holding 150), walk without shoes, scanty clothing for weather, no water for drinking and washing, put on unpaid forced labour, cut out completely from outside world, and overall treated something like unwanted animal pests whose daily deaths do not count?

An airline captain was breaking in a new blonde stewardess. The route they were flying had a layover in another city. Upon their arrival, the captain showed the stewardess the best place for airline personnel to eat, shop and stay overnight.

The next morning, as the pilot was preparing the crew for the day's route, he noticed the new stewardess was missing. He knew which room she was in at the hotel and called her up wondering what happened. She answered the phone, crying, and said she couldn't get out of her room. "You can't get out of your room?" the captain asked, "Why not?"

The stewardess replied: "There are only three doors in here," she sobbed, "one is the bathroom, one is the closet, and one has a sign on it that says 'Do Not Disturb'!"

First off.. if you get a credit card offer from Juniper run for the hills. I got a card from them a while ago and my account was always in good standing. A few months back they started to raise my APR and when I called to ask why the answer was pretty much because they can. So I said I want my account closed when my balance reaches zero and there is no activity on my account but finance charges and payments. Now I see that even though the account is closed they raised my APR again. I thought my account terms stay at what they were when the account was closed until balance reaches 0 (because I did this once before with providian- another run for the hills company) I have since read numerous horror stories on JUNIPER on some bad business bureau site and this seems to be a common practice (raising APR's for no reason..because the economy is bad..etc) - so anyways the main thing I want to know is can they do this? and to warn people...
