I heard somebody say once that you should really look at whether or not that player was among the elite players (either overall or at his position) for a significant portion of his career. The way players are compiling stats nowadays, I think it's wrong to say that Rafael Palmeiro was a better player than Mickey Mantle because he hit more home runs. Was Palmeiro ever MVP? How many MVP votes did he even receive during his career? How many All-Star games did a player play in? Palmeiro was never even the best at his position. During his career that honor would probably have had to go to Don Mattingly, Mark McGuire, Frank Thomas, and Albert Pujols. What do you think? (see my answer re: most underrated and overrated as well).

help. me ex has just informed me, via email, that our visitation schedule exists so he can see the kids as is convenient for him. i do not see parenting as a hobby - he does. now he informed me he will not pick them up next month when he does not want to because of work , etc. i still have to work every other weekend and my schedule is set thru october. i can not change it at all. i cannot afford to pay for additional sitting - what he pays in support now barely covers the current sitter - i pay all other expenses - food, mortgage, electric, clothes, shoes, everything. I am at my wits end. i refuse to put him down to my kids - but how do i answer them when they ask why we are eating ramen soup for dinner every night because their father pulls stunts like this? ANy suggestions? do i break down and call the lawyer again?

my horse seems lame but its not his tendons its just his off fore. he has never been lame before in the 3 years ive owned him, i took off all his shoes recently and ive never done this before( normally just the back two come off during the summer) could it be possible that he is just adapting to having no shoes. or what should i do to get him better? thank you

why are all of you libbers so nasty? I am a woman and I am sick of how women treat their men.
