Ebay can be a great tool when planning your wedding. Your maid-of-honor may have had a bad experience and is letting it color her judgement. Always remember to check the seller's feedback to see if any buyers have had any trouble with their transactions.
Good luck!

I bought quite a few items off Ebay for my wedding. I found a great card holder and much better flower girl baskets than they sell in the store. We used sanddollars as part of our gift for the guests and I also got a great deal on those from Ebay. Besides just the wedding, my husband and I buy a lot of stuff off Ebay and we've never had any problems. They have great wedding favors for cheaper than other websites, too. Good luck!

I bought tons of stuff off eBay for my wedding - make sure you get the insurance - I wasn't disappointed in anything. We spent $1,800 on our wedding for 100 people. Bought stuff off eBay and bought food at Sam's. We've been to 6 weddings since and everyone always tells us ours was nicer. Don't just buy to save money, though. Make sure you love it and that it is a true representation of the two of you. If it isn't like they described you can lodge a dispute and get money back. I'd say it's worth the gamble, just leave yourself enough time to replace things if they aren't what you dreamed.
Congrats & well wishes!

It's fine to buy anything off of ebay or the internet. Just make sure that you have plenty of time!! Incase you don't like the item or it's not nice so you can return it and replace it. Also check with vendors what their return policy is. The things you are talking about are great to buy off of ebay- it gets a little tricker with dresses and shoes because they have to fit you!
Good Luck and tell your maid of honor to shhhhhh!!

If you have bought from them before and know the seller, I would say yes. When buying from Ebay, you have to remember that not everyone is as honest as they say they are. Also, when buying through the mail, anything can happen. I would say no for buying for a wedding if you have never bought from them before. It's just too much of a chance.

It's your wedding and your choice. I personally don't see anything wrong with it. Now, I wouldn't buy a used wedding dress or anything like that, but simple decorations...that's fine. Trust me, you need to save as much money as you can, because you can run up a huge bill before you even realize! Every little bit saved helps!!!

a chum of mine offered a wedding ceremony gown from one among those 'shops' on eBay. She had a specialist seamstress degree her too. The gown did not in good structure in any respect and develop into notably low cost searching. She went to attempt to characteristic it altered and it ought to have fee her $seven hundred to have them attempt to attach it. She threw the gown away and offered a white promenade gown. It develop into somewhat notably and no one knew the version.

Anything to save money! I am planning my wedding also, and I have been keeping a close eye on wedding dresses. Why spend hundreds of dollars on something you will only use once?
Another good website is www.craigslist.com
Happy shopping and Good luck!

You can never trust ebay. Thats what I think personally. I have found some cheap things I have wanted too, but you never know, it could be different than what you see and hear. Try going to amazon.com or overstock.com. They have discounted items, and their company is selling them, not random people, so you can trust that it will be what you want.
