Consider the Epicurean argument:
"Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?"

I was reading in Wikipedia that "one of the most common arguments against the existence of a specific God is the problem of evil." As an atheist, this is certainly my main argument. How do theists account for this logical incompatibility? The only reasons I ever hear from people are "free will" or "the devil." The first just doesn't make sense and the second is just an excuse.

I fell in love with many girls, but the truth is that nothing really happened. No romantic words, no dates, no kiss, nothing. I was a little shy but I tried to feel love between us. The last girl that I liked was to busy to go out with me, I believe the she avoids me. I'm 17 and I have no love experients (yes I'm a virgin too, but I don't wanna rush like that). I know this isn't from a pet or maybe somebody has one of these, anyway, I was walking along the beach and came upon this. I'm guessing it's an egg sac for something. It is roughly 8"X4"X1"" in size. What "something" did it come from?

I have a best friend, who's name I will keep secret, and we met in the 8th grade. I have had a crush on him ever since. I came out to him and he accepted me. I told him that I had/have a crush on him, and he still accepted me. After I came out to him and and told him I had/have a crush on him, he wanted to be with me more and more... Were this signs that he also had a thing for me? Because he used to always murmur something to me, and I swear it stated, "I love you." And, see, I dont know if he's still the same.
