Euthanasia IS legal in several countries. And under certain circumstances, it is legal in Oregon as well.

I agree with euthanasia being permitted in situations like those where assisted suicide are allowed in Oregon, if a person has a terminal illness and is in intractable pain. I might even go further than that as I think some conditions, while not terminal, can be devastating to live with.

I think if certain conditions are met, and certain protections are in place to prevent a slippery slope, yes, it should be legalized. I think it is the humane thing in many situations. We put animals to sleep when they're in agony... we should not allow people to suffer if they choose not too as well.

Yes. But before that, the government should setup a separate body comprising of medical professionals, lawyers and human activists, who can review each case and can give decisions accordingly.

Yes, for certain people and for certain circumstances. I believe we have the right to choose life for ourselves or not especially when there is no longer any quality of life to be experienced and we are in our right minds to make the decision for ourselves.
