checked out my college planner online and it tells me that there are a bunch of colleges that have deadlines this month and in august. I haven't even started to send out applications to any colleges or build my cv or college portfolio , am i gonna be locked out of these colleges already. i start college in the year of 07 but do i have to start applications now????

i believe its the day its delinquent. but do they keep an account open for years after you stop paying? or the day you were late on the last payment is when the countdown starts?!?!

I'm a Democrat but not a liberal. Personally I think voting to oppose a ban on same sex marraige is a political blunder on the part of the Dem party. If they vote against the ban and Repubs vote for it then gay marraige and values becomes an election year issue. If Dems vote with Republicans to ban gay marraige then it takes the entire issue off the table. Gay people will still vote Dem because they so desperately hate Bush and the corrupt Republican party. The thing is there are simply much more important life and death issues to consider before you ever get to whether or not a man should marry a man. I'm insensed that people have voted Bush to ensure that gays wont marry but now complain that their son is dead in Iraq or they can no longer buy prescription drugs because they are too expensive or complain about gas prices or that minimum wage hasnt moved in 5 years. Well, they should of paid closer attention to the true issues that effect our lives.

I definitely need my porch light on at night, but at the same time it attracts like a seemingly endless parade of moths. I am against the killing of ANY human, especially civilian and regardless of their race, religion, sex, age etc...
But from my point of view, I look at what happened to the poor jews, europeans, arabs and other races during WWII, how they were mercilessly killed by the nazis. A crime against humanity, against reasoning. But that was 50 years ago.
And now, what do we have? The same people that were prosecuted and tortured have now settled in a land that was no longer theirs. They kicked away people from their homes and took it for theirs, they have killed thousands of palestinians and now are destroying Lebanon completley by killing civilians, bruning bridges, airprot etc... Isn't that genocide and crime? Bare well that i am not freeing the other side of guilt. its a war and both sides have done wrong. But if Israel is as civilized as it claims to be, can its actions against the pal. and lebanese be justified? to burn a country to the ground for the kidnapping of 2 soldiers is bad.

I'm christian but sometimes I'm ashamed of what I see When Christains on her Blogging the Hell out people for asking simple questions. My ex-fiance and I dated on and off for 7 years and we were engaged from March 2005-September 2005. He came home one day and wanted to end things. We talked every now and then but when he talks me into coming to visit him, we end up sleeping together then I end up sad because I know we can't be together. I'm not sure what to do.. should I end all contact with him and just forget about it? He was my first love and I know I will always love him but it's hard to face the fact that we can't be together.
