It's a small device you plug into an outlet that suppossedly emits some kind of sound waves that dirves out rodents and insects. I want to know if they work, and if they are worth buying.

Yes, those do actually work to some degree but typically only on a limited basis... only until all the critters become accustomed to the ultrasonic frequencies. Most rodents and insects/spiders are extremely sensitive to sound, it would probably only aggitate them more than anything else. Plus, if you have "pets" it would not be wise to expose them to such things long term either!!!

There's other natural and less intrusive ways of dealing with the problem.

NO but you must be an American trained purchaser cause you will buy anything if they market it correctly. I can see you are beginning to fight this take care because they will burn witches you know. buy it at walmart try it and if it does not work take it back. or to save time think about it here is something that cost a few dollars and there is still millions in research dollars going out to defeat the bugs and vermin and the best they have come up with till recently is to use WWII chemical and nerve agents in low enough doses so the humans do ot IMMEDIATELY die. The one that work cost bigger bucks for biting insects the ones that have propane and the secret extra ingredient work very well but most people do not want to pay several hundred dollars even if it does work. the propane is burned to give off co2 and the secret ingredient is the trace of mammal, no you can not smell it but the system works fantastic. think about it though if you kill all the blood suckers flying in your area what is mother nature going to do, shift the reserves in from next door, and have the survivors lay more eggs.

You will be happy and not be dissappointed if you just buy the spray-on insecticide. Spray your whole house maybe every week or two weeks, and then go out and go shopping (Note: leave your pets outdoor). Buy a "Victor" mouse trap for the rodents. Those stick paper traps are great for little mice, as well. I caught numerous mice in my sister's house with these glue-traps.

I bought two of these electronics gadgets to ward off those pesky mosquitoes here in Texas. These things do not work when it comes to mosquitoes, but I have not tested it for spiders. The other one that I bought make used of scent made from some geranium oil, but the mosquitoes here in our backyard are "Asian Tiger Mosquitoes" that bite during daytime and never been detered by these electronic gadgets.

i do not imagine those digital issues artwork on mattress insects. anyhow, they're meant to emit a particular sound that many insects discover unsightly. It would not reason the insects to come back to the emitter, that is meant tochronic them away - with slightly of success out of your position. We used to have an ant difficulty, so i tried using easily a kind of issues interior the kitchen. It did not artwork. the subsequent day, there have been ants crawling on the project. perhaps it replaced into in basic terms that distinct style.

I got one of those ultrasonic pest repellent devices.

I thought it was working, that is, until I got bitten by a poisonous spider that was probably pissed off by all that high-pitched noise!

If you're using it to repel anything other than salesmen or Jehovah's Witnesses, good luck.
