What a question there is only one 24, how many other people have the longest days of their lives like jack 24, 24, 24, 24

I prefer "Lost" infinitely more than "24". I abhorr the rabid right-wing, neo-con propaganda that makes up the bulk of "24"'s dialogue and plot. I am also quite repulsed at the need for graphic presentations of abuse, torture, and the suppression of human rights for suspects that is so commonplace on "24." I suppose, ultimately, one can only conclude that the purpose of a show such as "24" is to make us feel familiar, if not completely comfortable, with living in a police state where torture is commonplace, and all who dissent are labelled "enemies of the state." The evening news used to be the most unpleasant program on television, but all the carnage and horror of a half-hour's worth of reality pales next to the sheer brutality presented by "24."

24, there is no competition even though lost is good but so far 24 has managed to have great writing for the last five years. If lost can continue to produce great storylines in 3 years time then i will be pleased.
Right now its all about Jack Bauer trying to single handedly having to save the American people from terrorist and political corruption.

I watch both, 24 (Fox) after Lost (Axn) and even though I love Lost, 24 still still keeps me on the edge for the entire hour.

Lost pace is obviously slower than 24's, but both storylines are very well designed and deployed.
