Israeli killings?

Question

I am against the killing of ANY human, especially civilian and regardless of their race, religion, sex, age etc...
But from my point of view, I look at what happened to the poor jews, europeans, arabs and other races during WWII, how they were mercilessly killed by the nazis. A crime against humanity, against reasoning. But that was 50 years ago.
And now, what do we have? The same people that were prosecuted and tortured have now settled in a land that was no longer theirs. They kicked away people from their homes and took it for theirs, they have killed thousands of palestinians and now are destroying Lebanon completley by killing civilians, bruning bridges, airprot etc... Isn't that genocide and crime? Bare well that i am not freeing the other side of guilt. its a war and both sides have done wrong. But if Israel is as civilized as it claims to be, can its actions against the pal. and lebanese be justified? to burn a country to the ground for the kidnapping of 2 soldiers is bad.

By the way Hezbollah have kidnapped 2 soldiers and caused all this miss, then Israel send their aircraft and ships and missiles to bomb Lebanon and non of the Hezbollah has been hurt, just the civilians.

I suggest you calm your emotions, set down, chill out, and look at the situation in an objective manner, instead of a reactive manner. I know emotions tend to rule the liberal mindset, but you can do it if you try.

You are against killing, ok fine. But realize you are living in a world where people are killed everywhere, not just Israel. So maybe instead of focusing your narrow scope on what Israel is doing (alone), you can look at the bigger picture and see what others are also doing. You really think this mess is because of Israel? If so, ur more naive than I thought.

You said something about Isreal killing others and stealing land that was no longer theirs? Well you know something, the land was stolen from them long ago. And what always happens eventually when things like that happens (expecially when Holy land is taken)? Did anyone ever really think the Jews would never return? Come on? This is holy land, and it was stolen thousands of years ago. Of course someday the Jews would return and claim the land that was taken from them.

What about the rockets and mortar fire that has taken place that begun right after Israel pulled out of Lebanon years ago? What about the constant suicide bombing? What about the current Islamic rhetoric about driving Israel into the sea, and killing all the Israelis?

No, ur a stupid person. You see killing as evil, but you focus on the killing by one side and ignor the killing on the other. Sure you acknowledge the nazis etc, but you didnt acknowledge the present day Islamo facsism going on throught the world by muslims everywhere, not just in the middleeast.

Justified???? I say no, but you have to watch what you say, the bombings are i think an over use power but at the same time do you want two more soldiers going missing or any body else going missing or dying...no, it has to stop and neither side is gonna. I believe and hope i'm wrong but Its a fact that jerusalem will have to be nuked in order to stop what has been going on. Just look at the types of attacks, like you said children, women, husbands, wifes, grandfathers, these are the real casulties and its wifes, husband, men, and gradfathers who are the killers pals. lebs. & isrl. all responsible. isreal just has the means to put its foot down. Believe in the fact that the suicide bombings in response would have caused the same damage but with no single person to point the finger at, then the circle comes full force again. Now at least the people know who is attacking its a government. it won't change much. Land belonging to either of the side?... its foolish to argue. Attacks back and forth for no reason... "because they did one last week" was becoming the reason now its cause they kidnapped soldiers...makes a bit more sense to bomb don't you think? but i think they had to flex there muscle sooner or later. I'm on the quaker side of things i just don't want to see people fighting... burning the whole place to the ground is the only end and my only answer

How can Palestinians constantly blow themselves up on buses and in restaurants, killing scores of innocents and children, and not expect any backlash?

The land was divided by the UN General Assembly and Israel even pulled out of the Gaza Strip, which was supposed to halt the violence, but apparently there are those who crave chaos.

Be glad that Israel is a patient nation because I would have turned my neighbor into a parking lot that glows at night a long time ago.

Yes I think you are right. Israel is in the wrong here they started this as a massive over reaction and no one want to do anything.

I want to say this though - Because I oppose the actions of Israel- Does NOT make me a anti semite or mean that I am against Jews. It does mean that I think Israel is wrong and clearly the aggressor here and that they should stop it right away.
