Why is it so hard to get up for work and not hard if you have the day off?

I have so much trouble getting up in the morning when I know I have to go to work. Is it psychological? I don't have this problem on the weekend though.

Has God Made You Helpless?

FIRST! This question is not to "rag" on those who believe in god. This question is not designed to call faith into question.

I've seen postings on Answers, one recent, describing someone living in an abusive situation and is asking for "Christian advice". Other questions have been asked for prayers to ask how to get out of an unsafe or dangerous situation - through God. What is going through these minds? Why are they not calling the police, seeking medical attentions, seeking psychological help?

If you believe in God, doesn't your god also want you to fend for yourself or use your brain to one degree or another? If someone is afraid of being abused, tortured, or possibly killed - why is it a matter for God and not the police?

Has God become such a HUGE crutch that some have become totally helpless? If you have a broken leg, why would you not go to a doctor? If you are being physically, mentally, and psychologically abused, why would you not go to a shelter???

I don't understand.

I am really sensitive to violence and drama...?

I dwell on things for long periods of time. Especially when it comes to movies with violent, sexual, and dramatic content... so i end up watching disney movies or the black and white classics instead but my boyfriend can't stand them... is it unfair to my boyfriend that i can't watch "guy" movies? If i do watch them, he ends up having to put up with my depression for the following couple of weeks. It drives him nuts that I have to avoid watching the news and only look at environmental news sites... what is the fairest way to handle this situation?

A man was walking in he woods, It was a great day. Suddenly, the man hears a rustling in the bushes. He peeks over the bush and sees a short man dressed all in green dancing around and singing. "Holy ****" the man says "That's a Leprechaun , I gotta grab him so I can get my three wishes." So the man pounces on the Leprechaun and says "Gotcha, now give me my wishes!! I want Cindy Crawford in my bed every morning, A million dollars given to me everyday for the rest of my life, and immortality."

The Leprechaun says "Ah, Those are some hard wishes, for me to grant them I'll need you to let me bone you up the ***!!!"
