the point is do most german americans know who is in charge of germany or do most americans know who the prime minister of canada is??? or ireland and as a black person in a country that thinks the continent is a country I never hear the names or see speeches of any african leader! We get more news on israel than other parts of the country and since it is no ACTUAL consequence no more then kenya or south africa, why do we have to be soaked in it. There are 5,992,000 people who don't live israel and aren't jewish but I have to get every minor detail about something that is just a u.s. military base and launching pad for the u.s. to harass the middle east from. As for b.e.t. it's one channel on cable it's closer to tlc than nbc, cnn or cbs.

I can see where you are coming from I'm Irish but I could not get any news on Ireland if I staired at the tv 24/7. On the other hand the media only has twenty four hours in a day to tell the news. Israel has been in a conflict for as long as I can remember and they are a unique form of government in the middle east.

If todays media were around during WW2, the Germans would have known every attack battle plan, every military secret, every spy and exactly when and where "D day" was.....we would have lost the war!!!!
