I have always wondered how its possible a democracy as old as America doesn't have universal health care, universal free education and universal state house for all who need it. and not a minimum wage, but a living wage for those unskilled people in society.
Dont you think that these type of things are signs of a mature democracy? if so, why doesen't America have these things, and dont tell me about little programs going on here and there, I mean this is something that should be the very spearhead of American democracy as we enter the 21st century...or not? what do you think?

This may sound stupid to some, but this has become a big issue. I am the youngest of 5 kids. My oldest sister is getting married again for the 6th time. She asked my wife & I if she could have the wedding and reception in our back yard. We said yes. Now my brothers and sisters are mad at us. They said we should have said no, because she should not be getting married again. I am not thrilled about her getting married again. But I figure it is her life. Now my family says that If I let her have her wedding here, they are not coming around anymore. They have disowned her and now they will disown me. Should I just tell my sister to fly to Vegas and get married. Or take my chances with the rest of my family?

Here's what I have. Am I missing any?

Luke and Leia are twins. She's adopted by royalty, he's raised by a farmer.
Will and Elizabeth met as children. She is daughter of colonial governor, he is raised by a blacksmith.

Leia uses a ghost-like message to summon Obi-wan.
Elizabeth uses a dress to fake a ghost.

Jack gets a message from a dead man.
Luke talks to dead Obi-Wan.

Ewoks worship C3P0 as a god, and help fight the Empire.
Natives worship Jack as a god, and try to eat him.

Luke meets his father, who he thought was dead.
Will meets his father, who is undead.

Han is betrayed by his friend Lando.
Elizabeth is betrayed by her former fiancée. Norrington.


Leia kisses Han just before he is frozen in carbonite.
Elizabeth kisses Jack just before he is eaten by the Kraken.

Han and his ship are swallowed by a giant worm.
Jack and his ship are swallowed by a giant squid.

After I made some inapprpriate comments at another party, my GF has "dared" me to go to a fancy dress party dressed as a slut/tart/jhooker type girl in about six weeks time. She wants me to wear approrpriate clothing, make up and hair and she wants me to post here so she can select the best ideas.

So, I have to ask, what kind of make up look should I have for this party? She'll be doing it (I think).

I have 3 kids ages 3, 5 & 6.
My 3 year can go to school this year but I am afraid to send him! Is that too early to start school...it's a pre kindergarten he will be there all day from 8-2..is that too much for a 3 year old! I have people tellin me it would be great for him, while others say he is too young! I dont know what to do! When I ask him he sometimes says no and then other times yes! What should I do?

And many people afterwards have found other religions or no religion at all to be more convincing, sometimes while being very virtuous. Do all these people really deserve eternal torment because of that?

the mother harms the child so that the child is sick and the mother gets attention for this? She may even make the kid think they are sick..when the doctors cannot figure out exactly why the child is sick (since it was inflicted, not done by the body itself).

I recently installed a main water line on my property. 3/4 poly pipe.
The trailer and outside spicket are sharing the same tee.
The water pressure is low on trailer and outside spicket when using both. Any ideas? change configuration ?

How do you know for sure if you have physic abilities?..I hear voices sometimes telling me to do things,,not bad things..but one day I heard a voice tell me to fasten my seatbelt...I did what the voice said,,2 miles down the road I was involved in an accident...The seatbelt saved my life...Another incident was the timing of 2 family members death...I was just about to go inside their room (at different times) and a voice told me not to go in...a few mintutes later the nurse came out and said they had passed away....I would have not wanted to be in the room if they were dying..That's just a few things that have happened lately...It's getting to be scary...Am I lossing my mind or what?
