No as long as you weren't offensive. You may not always get the answers which agree with your thought process or serious answers b/c some people only want 2 points, they don't care about whether you get an answer which would help you.

No, some people are just rude and write something in response to someones questions that is not an answer, but an insult. It has happened to me but I just ignore the ignorance, you should do the same.

if you're referring to that texas question, no. i dont see anything wrong with asking a serious question, in fact i'd rather see every question be serious.

Nope. Here's your answer. Write to the board of prisons in your state. you'll help yourself if you give as many details as possible, full name, ssn, what was the conviction for, last known address etc.
