I parked in a space that was designated as handicap but the place of business was closed. I parked there at 1030 at night and the store was not going to open until noon the next day. I was going to a night club and of course my car was gone by 0200 that morning. I would have never parked there if the store was opened. I think this is a sorry way for the city of dallas to make money. Should I fight paying this ticket?

I can't quite wrap my mind around what this means. Does it really mean anything?

My " friend " called me yesterday and invited my son to her sons birthday party for today. So I went and bought a gift and everything. She was supposed to come and pick us up, because my husband has the one car that works. Mine is in the shop right now. She was supposed to be here two hours ago! I tried to call her, and now all of a sudden her phone doesn't work! How freaked up is that? My son is really disappointed. Why would someone do that? I bet next time I see her, she will give me some erroneous excuse. What do you think about it?

OK I need to know what it takes to qualify as a VFW. My idiot daughter in-law thinks she qualifies as a VFW because she was in Iraq after Saddam was captured and we are there helping them establish their new govt.

To me to qualify as a VFW you have to have taken part in an actual war not the restructing of the new govt. The war ended when saddam was captured and all his troops stopped fighting.

Is this correct?

especially since Protestants are the ones who always claim that no one but Jesus was without sin?

We Catholics believe that a person who dies and still has some attachment to sin but who is not bad enough to go to Hell goes through a spiritual cleansing or purging process in order to prepare them to be perfectly clean before entering into Heaven. We call this Purgatory.

If you are a Protestant, what do you call this cleansing process? I'm sure that you don't believe that everyone is going to Hell, do you?

By Protestant I mean a non-Catholic or non-Orthodox Christian.
