If your intention is for your pop to go flat faster then just put the cap on because that way you are leaving space free for carbon dioxide to fill. If your intention is to avoid your pop going flat too fast, better to squeeze the bottle after you have had a drink so that no free air space is left. Also, keep the pot in a cool place, remember that heat will speed up the process of releasing the carbon dioxide.

If you squeeze and shake it will go flat but if you put the cap on tightly it should be ok

Twist the cap tightly that will slow the flattening process. But Yes it will eventually go flat. Try Cans...

yes, because you are losing the carbon dioxide faster when you let it out first. there are special devices that you can get a ampm or 711 that you pump air into the bottle to keep the pressure up.

If you mean "pop" as in soda yes it does go flat.
Yes it goes flatter if you do that.
And leave it in a fridge if you don't want it to go flat.
