please give me examples as much as you can: " hear something" , "hear about something" .and "hear of something" .,sometime I get confused. thanks

or - I heard something about it.

have you ever heard of Yahoo ansers?

Have you heard of the new computer programme?
Hear something is actually to use your ears and hear a noise.
Hear about means to hear some information which pertains to a particular subject or action.
To hear of means to gain information about a product.
These are just some example of their use...
