If he's your boyfriend then you must have something that both of you are interested in.....see what that is and talk about it...
How about trying to talk about him for an example.....people are always ready to talk about themselves...asking questions like where do you see yourself 10 years from now....or which country would you love to visit someday....
These questions will keep him goin on for hours, and you guys will get closer to each other.....first by finding out more about him, and second, he'll feel heard and interesting to you.

cars... I'm assuming that those are his favorite topics if you talk about them all the time. He may or may not enjoy some philosophy, news, politics.. Just try different things until you find something he likes. Hopefully he enjoys more than just sex and sports.

If you don't have topics to talk about that means you are not made for each other!
how about people living together for 30 years and still find topics to talk !!!

What books have you both read? What movies have you both seen? Where would you like to go on holiday? What do you want to do when you grow up? Is there a God? Is there a way to end poverty? How would you change the world if you were king and queen for a day?

Try to talk about how your day went or maybe since you talk about things that he always talk about change the subject to something want to talk about or if you think your gonna be with him for a while ask him what he plan on doing in life

If he truly cares about you then he should be able to talk about anything if you really need to or desire to. Not to say you should totally dominate the conversational topics, but it should be somewhere along the line of 50/50

Your daily activities, how life affects you, things that make you happy or sad. Places you've been and would like to go and vice versa. Discuss any hobbies that you have or would like to pursue. Discuss your goals as an individual and as a couple...
