If the answer is nooooo, then why would we have memories now, and why would we feel such a loss? Why make something in what is considered such a "short time"...and then take it away? I refuse to believe that we will not be able to see our families in heaven, and just linger on in the spirit not knowing anything. It would not make any sense to me.. Yeah, yeah, I know...If our maker has a perfect plan... but I want scripture backing both theories up. Or whatever religion you might be, I would like to learn of your opinion on this subject, and how you came to this conclusion about the afterlife.

I used to live in the slums, so I know more about welfare than your average person. People are given money without needing to try and get a job. If they want to take a class (like learning how to be a nurse) it is all paid for. We give them handouts without their needing to work.

This doesn't help them.

They remain in their situation, which is being poor and living off of welfare. I'm all for welfare to help someone out of a rough patch, but I think we should help get them a job, make sure some of their earnings go to savings and rent untill they have enough money to be independant, and then let them do it for themselves.

Why keep freeloaders on welfare?
I don't want to pay for them.

Note: I'm sure someone will call me a hipocrite for having been on welfare and now rejecting the system. Its a good system in theory. But in theory no ones going to use it to be lazy and not have to get a job. I worked past it. Not everyone will and that's why we need to fix our jaded system

Does anyone else want to boycott Old Navy and Gap for their stupid return policy that they recently enacted? You can't bring in clothes (even with tag on, and remember all their clothes are their own brand so you couldn't buy them anywhere else) without a receipt and do an exchange. You have to return it, wait for a refund in the mail, and then go back in to make a purchase. Give me a break! Just because they're popular they think they can enact such a ridiculous policy and get away with it! Is anyone else totally peeved at this?

I just finished reading the Shopaholic series and I really enjoyed reading a series of books with the same characters. Could you recommend any more series of books? preferablly ones that are chic books and are funny.

My boyfriend seems to be the one who like is getting my emotions in a uproar anymore. Everytime i bring up something about a baby item hes like ''yea yea okay okay'' like ARGH! this is your son or daughter in me! He goes out and does stupid stuff, so he's not spending money! Im kinda afraid that im gonna end up doing this on my own! Like right now, hes out drinking beed and eating at a expensive place. Why? Because this ''friend'' he works with wanted him too..i swear sometimes he cant say freaking no and it makes me mad!! ARGH! How can i approach him about all of this? And Ideas? Im almost 7 weeks pregnant!

the travel agent gave me a booklet and it just tells me what i need to know about the cruise before we sail, however they did not go into detail about formal wear. it says that formal attire is suggested at the captain's cocktail party and the captain's gala dinner. do you know if teenagers attend the cocktail party? and do you know if it is required to have a tie and dress pants, or can you just wear a a dress shirt and nice jeans. and what about shoes?

This has to do with my last question a little.
I personally am not fat at all. I have a BMI
of 20 i think. But still, it seems so hypocritical.
A heavy guy who has a slender gf is looked
at like a pimp, and his buddies praise him.
But if that same guy had a heavy gf they
would ridicule him for being with a fat pig?

I know not ALL guys are like this but it seems
really acceptable for a guy to be a fat slob.
But if a girl is she is a piece of sh*t. I will admit
at a certain wieght it gets unhealthy, but
full figured women are gorgeous...at least to me
Marilyn Monroe by todays standards would be
plus size, and Monica Bellucci and Beyonce
are both full figured gals, and they are smokin!!

So i guess its a double standard guys can
be ugly and fat but a girl cant.
And if an ugly/and or fat guy gets
turned down by a girl shes a total b**ch
but if a guy turns a ugly/andor fat girl
its fine and acceptable. Thoughts anyone?

I can't see any possible route to world war 3. Even if Israel nuked the enitre arab world I can't see it causing world war 3. World war 3 would require The USA and either China or Russia to fight against each other, and I fail to see how this current situation would lead to that. Neither China nor Russia cares enough about the Arabs to risk their own security.

What the heck is the deal here? Im 26 now an i am not getting any younger. Im a single hispanic women with a daughter who is seven years old. I have not moved out because im still single and i dont want to live alone (without a man). I dont understand it though. Im 5'7, thin and physically in shape. I have long curly hair which i recently straightend, brown eyes nice lips... well any way Im Hot!. But Im still single. Ive noticed that men are afraid to approach me, but they are not afraid to stare and sometimes make silly gross faces. Ive seen alot less attractive women with some really nice men, and i just dont understand it. I go to the gym almost daily where there are men galore, but i dont want to date anyone from the gym, cuz then i cant make faces and grunt. I never go out to clubs or anything like that and i dont have any female friends. They also are intimidated, but why?. I dont know, i gues im going to have to gain some weight and knock out some teeth. Guys, tell me why!
