I recently had a German Shepard put to sleep for Mange. At least, the vet thought he had mange but was unsure. He had got loose and sent to a shelter. The shelter didn't even hold him for 24 hours before making the decision to put him down. They didn't even wait for us to contact them about the dogs because by the time we found out that he got loose and sent to this certain shelter they had already closed for the night. We called first thing in the morning to find out they had put our dog down. Is this right?

I read that stretch marks are caused from growing too fast and you skin doesnt grow as fast or something and that if you lost a lot of weight, but none of that happened to me i have always been in shape (110lbs) and its embarassing

Long story short. My brother "Mark" lives with his girlfriend "Becky" and HER 4 yr old daughter "Sally". They live in an unacceptle housing condition. (Food everywhere, dirty dishes piled up, dog crap/pee on the floor, leaking roof, ect. ect.... nasty nasty house). Becky doesn't take proper care of her daughter, she'll sleep in til when ever leaving Sally to find food for herself. Becky has laundry piled up that would take at least 20-25 loads to do. Sally wears dirty, raggy cloths that Becky gets from yard sales. WITHOUT washing them first. Pants, shirts, panties....whatever. She just does't wash them first. I contacted SRS and they gave them notice of when they would be there. That gave Mark and Becky plenty of time to 'clean up' and act like nothing was wrong. What can I do to protect this innocent 4 yr old? I can't confront my brother about it. He has a short temper and can't handle anyone telling him Becky is a lousy mother. Please help me help a 4 yr old. HELP!
